"Attention LT1 engine owners!!!!!! If you don't have a mechanic, your search is over. I own a 97 Firebird Formula, LT1 engine with high performance package. After an engine rebuild, I picked-up the car from the rebuilder with a belt squeal. Neither the rebuilder nor (5) other mechanics could figure the cause. After wasting $1500, I was referred to True Family by a friend who owns a 95 Camaro with a LT1 race engine. He had an overheating problem that wouldn't go away until he went to True Family. So, I took my Firebird to True Family, and they resolved the problem before I got back home. It turned out to be a coolant valve that was not closed tightly by the rebuilder leaking on the belt. Since then, they are my exclusive mechanic, even for oil changes. For those of you not car savvy, if they can fix a LT1, they can handle anything. For accurate diagnosis and solid repair, True Auto is the place. I have owned this Firebird for 15 years and always worked on it myself before serious back problems."
